Yesterday the Tulsa Talons signed Fullback J.J. Payne. Payne averaged more than 3 yards a rush last season for the Iowa Barnstormers and had some definite power.
Fullback is the one position I have seen a clear lack of talent for the Talons all season. Payne cannot fill Odie Armstrong's shoes, but he is a lot better than a lot of options other teams have (outside of Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Arizona).
